Isn’t it funny how day by they nothing changes but when you look back everything is different.

He has infinite attention to spare for each one of us. He does not have to deal with us in the mass. You are as much alone with Him as if you were the only being He had ever created.

The real problem is not why some pious, humble, believing people suffer, but why some do not.

God has room for people with very little sense, but He wants every one to use what sense they have.

The happiest moments are when we forget our precious selves, but have everything else (God, fellow humans, animals, garden, & sky) instead.

Every faculty you have, your power of thinking or of moving your limbs from moment to moment, is given to you by God.

Prudence means practical common sense, taking the trouble to think out what you are doing and what is likely to come of it.

Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.

There is but one good; that is God. Everything else is good when it looks to Him and bad when it turns from Him.
